Make a request

Email hello@mkmela.co.uk with “MKMela data rights request” in the subject. Tell us whether you are an organiser or guest and give enough information to find the record, such as your email address, host name and celebration title. Do not send identity documents unless we ask for them.

What you can ask for

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. These rights are not absolute; if an exception applies we will explain it.

Direct organiser controls

Signed-in organisers can permanently delete an individual celebration from its overview, or delete their MKMela account and all celebrations from Account. Deletion cannot be undone.

How we verify and respond

We may ask a proportionate question to confirm that we are dealing with the correct person. We normally respond within one month. If a request is complex or numerous, the law may permit extra time and we will tell you.

Complaints

Contact us first if you can so we can put matters right. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.
