Terms of use
A clear agreement for calm celebration planning.
These terms apply to MKMela V3. Last updated 27 August 2026.
About MKMela
MKMela is operated by Monkey Magic Cloud Ltd, company number 12859688, registered in England and Wales at 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. Contact hello@mkmela.co.uk.
The service
MKMela helps organisers create celebrations, manage guest lists, share private invitation links and collect RSVPs. Planning checklists, provider suggestions and event listings are organisational aids, not legal, safety, licensing, medical, religious or professional advice. V3 is an early service and Brevo email delivery, payments and ticket sales are not enabled.
Accounts and eligibility
Organisers must be at least 18 and use their own Sign in with ChatGPT account. You are responsible for activity in your MKMela organiser account and for keeping access to your account secure. Guests do not need accounts. The service is not directed to children under 13.
Your responsibilities as organiser
- Only add people you genuinely intend to invite and for whom you have a lawful reason to use the contact details.
- Keep guest information accurate, proportionate and limited to the celebration.
- Do not ask for medical conditions, allergies, disability details, religious beliefs or other sensitive information through RSVP questions.
- Keep private invitation links confidential and replace a link if it has been shared with the wrong person.
- Respect guest rights requests and delete information when it is no longer needed.
- Do not use service invitations to send advertising, spam, unlawful, discriminatory, threatening or misleading content.
Guest replies
A guest may use the private link supplied by the host to reply without registering. The reply is provided to the organiser. Guests should not forward their link. Where the organiser permits changes, the same link can update a reply until its deadline or expiry.
Email and marketing
When enabled, invitation and RSVP-reminder messages will be service communications sent on the organiser’s instructions. They must not be repurposed for marketing. Marketing from MKMela requires a separate choice. Brevo remains disconnected in V3.
External listings, suppliers and wishlists
External events and providers are operated independently. A listing or link is not an endorsement, guarantee of availability or confirmation of price, safety or suitability. Check details with the organiser or supplier before acting. Future wishlist features will require the list owner to choose private, shared or public visibility before others can see a list.
Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of wording and information you enter and give us the limited permission needed to host and display it for the service. MKMela’s branding, software and original materials belong to Monkey Magic Cloud Ltd or its licensors. Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where law permits.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features for security, legal or operational reasons. We will avoid material loss of active celebration data where reasonably possible.
Deletion and suspension
You can delete a celebration or your MKMela account from the service. Deletion is permanent. We may restrict or remove content or access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal obligations or a serious breach of these terms.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, MKMela is not responsible for an external event, provider, venue, purchase or decision made using general planning information. If you use MKMela as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the UK where they live. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it fairly.
